The Glory of God

by Danny Walker

Exodus 13

Summary

From the beginning, God has desired to dwell among His people. God would on occasion reveal His presence by manifesting as a pillar of cloud or fire descending upon the tabernacle or filling the temple with His glory. After the deportation of the Jews, the glory of the Lord was not seen for four hundred years, until shepherds out in a field with their sheep beheld the glory of the Lord when an angel announced the birth of the Messiah. Jesus' disciples beheld the glory of the Lord when they received the Holy Spirit. As Christians, we have the privilege of being the temple of God as His glory indwells us.
